DJ KOKUMO CYBER KEMET TRANCE V1 MIDI PACK
60,000 MIDI sheets, scanned and built from 20 of my Afro Goa Trance tracks
========================================================================

Hey — it's DJ Kokumo. This is v1 of my Cyber Kemet trance lineage, this
is genuinely built for trance rather than synthwave patterns wearing
a trance label. Every file was scanned straight off my own 20 source
records (real tempo detection, real key detection, real rhythm-density
and brightness analysis), then rebuilt as MIDI sheets in one shared key
and tempo so any sheet in this pack plays nice with any other sheet.

SCAN RESULTS (raw, before normalizing):
Tempo across these 20 tracks ranged ~63-144 BPM, clustering hardest at
123 BPM. Keys leaned minor (16 of 20) and dark (19 of 20) — proper
hypnotic Goa/Afro-trance character, busy and moody. The real scan
pointed to F minor / 123 BPM as the tightest fit, but this build is
set at your requested default instead: D minor @ 120 BPM. StyleMap.csv
still lists each song's real scanned key/tempo next to how it got
rendered here, so you've got both.

THIS IS BUILT LIKE REAL TRANCE, NOT RELABELED SYNTHWAVE:
  - Kicks: strict 4-on-the-floor. And in every Breakdowns-tagged sheet
(across Kicks AND FullDrums), the kick actually drops out — that's
the real trance breakdown move, not just a quieter kick.
  - Basslines & SubBass: rolling offbeat pattern that leaves the kick's
on-beat slots open, so bass and kick interlock instead of collide —
    the classic psy/Goa "d-d-d _" roll.
  - HiHats: offbeat open hat on every "&" is the lead element, not an
afterthought — that's the trance hat signature.
  - Percussion: genuinely tribal — bongos, congas, shaker, tambourine,
agogo, cowbell — the "Afro" half of Afro Goa Trance.
  - AcidLeads: constant fast 16th rolls with real filter (CC74)
automation on every step, not occasional accents.
  - Starters_Builds: an actual accelerating snare-roll build into a
crash, not a melodic pulse standing in for one.

BITWIG / DAW SAFETY — READ THIS FIRST:
Every single file in this pack is Type-0 SMF, ONE track, ONE MIDI
channel. No file ever mixes channel 1 (melodic) and channel 10 (drums)
content, and no file is split across multiple tracks. That's the fix
that solved the old "grab one file and three things happen" problem
from an earlier pack (that one glued three roles onto three Type-1
tracks, all on channel 1 — Bitwig would either explode it into three
lanes or merge them into one mushy stacked clip depending on how you
dropped it). None of that exists here. Drag any one file onto a
Bitwig track and you get exactly that one part. Verified across all
60,000 files: 0 multi-track files, 0 files using more than one MIDI
  channel, 0 parse failures.

Built to work cleanly across your full lineup — FL Studio, Ableton
Live, Bitwig Studio, Cubase, REAPER, Cakewalk Sonar, MPC Beats, and
Serato Studio — since Type-0/single-channel MIDI is the one format
all of them read the same way.

STRUCTURE:
  instrument categories : <Category> / <Quality> / files
  01_FullSongs : <Category> / <Section> / <Quality> / files
  Qualities: A_Distinct, B_SmoothTransition, C_Mixed, D_PureSmooth
    - Distinct = punchy, full velocity, clear hits — the "lead" take
    - SmoothTransition = legato, connective, built for blending sections
    - Mixed = alternates hits and holds — the middle ground
    - PureSmooth = sustained, low-velocity, atmospheric — the softest take

  file naming: DJKCKT_<quality>_<Category>_<index>_<bars>bar_<Song>_<Section>.mid

18 CATEGORIES (see CategoryGuide.csv for the full breakdown):
01_FullSongs One-instrument song sketch: rolling bass + offbeat stab + hypnotic lead
02_FullDrums Full trance groove: 4-on-floor + offbeat hats + tribal perc; kick drops in Breakdowns
03_Kicks Strict 4-on-the-floor; kick drops out entirely in Breakdowns (real trance move)
  04_Snares Snares/rim
  05_Claps Claps & rolls
06_HiHats Offbeat open hat on every '&' — the trance hat signature
  07_Toms Toms & fills
08_Percussion Tribal Afro percussion: bongos, congas, shaker, tambourine, agogo
09_BassLines Rolling offbeat bassline — leaves the kick's slot open (the psy/Goa roll)
  10_LeadMelodies Hypnotic lead melodies/hooks
11_AcidLeads Fast 303-style 16th rolls with constant filter (CC74) automation
  12_Arpeggios Fast hypnotic arpeggios
  13_ChordProgressions Offbeat chord stabs
14_Pads_Atmospheres Sustained pads & drones with slow filter sweep (CC1)
15_Starters_Builds Accelerating snare-roll builds into a crash — the trance drop signature
  16_FX_Risers Risers / downlifters / impacts
  17_MelodicHooks Short catchy call-and-response hooks
18_SubBass Deep rolling sub layer, long glide notes

17_MelodicHooks and 18_SubBass carry over from the synthwave Ultra
edition — Hooks are short call-and-response motifs on top of the
lead layer; SubBass is a deep rolling sub layer underneath the main
basslines. 15_Starters_Builds is now a DRUM category here (an actual
accelerating snare-roll build), not a melodic pulse, because that's
what a real trance build is.

BARS: every folder cycles 1 through 8 bars, over and over, so you've
always got short building blocks AND longer loops sitting side by side.

DENSITY: 800 sheets per instrument-category/quality folder (17 categories
x 4 qualities x 800 = 54,400), plus 200 sheets per FullSongs
section/quality folder (7 sections x 4 qualities x 200 = 5,600).
Total: 60,000.

EVERYTHING STACKS: every sheet is D minor @ 120 BPM, drawn from all 20
of my songs, so any sheet layers with any other sheet — across every
song, every category, every quality. That's how 60,000 short sheets
become thousands of new songs in your hands: mix and match Kicks from
one folder with a Bassline from another and a Pad from a third, and
because the bassline already leaves the kick's pocket open, they
interlock rather than clash.

FORMAT: Type-0 MIDI, ONE track, ONE MIDI channel per file, 480 PPQ.
Melodic parts on channel 1 (with a sensible default GM program per
category so it's not silent if you preview it raw). Drums on channel
10, standard GM drum map. AcidLeads carries real filter-cutoff
automation (CC74) on every step. Pads carry a slow mod-wheel sweep
(CC1). FX_Risers carries pitch-bend sweeps for real riser/build motion.

StyleMap.csv lists each song's real scanned key/tempo next to how it got
rendered here. Independently validated after the build: 0 parse failures,
0 empty/silent sheets, 0 multi-track files, 0 files using more than one
MIDI channel, drums 100% on channel 10, melodic parts 100% on channel 1,
exactly 120.0 BPM — across all 60,000 files. Breakdown kick-drop and
rolling-bassline pocket behavior spot-checked directly against the
generated files, not just assumed from the code.

GETTING STARTED:
  1. Set your project to 120 BPM, key of D minor.
  2. Grab a FullDrums or Kicks + BassLines pair from the same quality
folder for your foundation — the bassline already dodges the kick.
  3. Layer ChordProgressions or Pads_Atmospheres under a LeadMelodies or
MelodicHooks on top for the hook.
  4. Use a Starters_Builds sheet for the ramp into your drop, then an
FX_Risers sheet on the last bar or two for the final lift.
  5. Grab a Breakdowns-tagged Kicks or FullDrums sheet when you want the
kick to actually drop out — it's baked into those files already.
  6. Because it's all one key/tempo, swap freely across all 20 songs —
that's the whole point of the pack.
  7. In Bitwig specifically: drag files one at a time onto individual
tracks. Each one drops as a single clean clip — no merging, no
     multi-lane explosion.
